2015 BMW X5 xDrive35d Turbo Diesel

Description

I genuinely love this X5, and if I didn’t want 7 seats to haul our kids and their friends/cousins, I wouldn’t be selling it. I recently upgraded to something that better fits the family, so it’s time for the BMW to find a new home.

This is the 3.0L turbo-diesel X5, and it’s a fantastic combination of power, comfort, and fuel economy. The diesel has plenty of power when you put your foot into it, but I’ve probably driven it 90% of the time in ECO PRO mode, where I routinely see 30+ MPG.

It has a Minnesota Rebuilt title, and I’m happy to explain exactly why. I purchased it from Copart in 2022 after a relatively minor front, passenger-side encounter with a curb/guardrail. Repairs included a control arm, wheel, headlight, bumper, and associated plastics. It has driven great since, has a solid alignment, and I’ve put plenty of miles on it myself. (At 166k now, bought with 112k)

The few blemishes shown in photos arrived with the car from previous owners.. This has been my garage queen, and I’ve been very easy on her these past 4.5 years.  Never left me stranded, never skipped a beat.  I have my Carly device if you’re interested in customizing this to your own tastes as well.

• New alternator

2024 — BMW of Rochester

• DME replaced
• NOx sensors replaced
• Active DEF tank replaced
• DEF wiring harness replaced
• The intercooler was also replaced under a BMW factory recall shortly before that work.

There is currently one warning on the dash, related to the passenger-side adaptive headlight. A deer ran into the passenger-front corner in 2024 and damaged the headlight. The headlight itself still functions; the warning is for the adaptive function that turns the light as you go around a curve. I haven’t replaced the assembly because I haven’t found one at a price that makes financial sense for what amounts to a convenience feature.

I’m asking $11,500.
